ABOUT

Station is a startup started with the vision of “updating community creation and designing a mechanism that allows anyone to choose a community that suits their lifestyle freely.”
We interviewed more than 200 community owners and managers. The interviews allowed us to understand the 2 major issues in community building: lack of knowledge on how to properly design a community and the incapacity to explain the actual situation of a community in concrete terms.
“Station” is a SaaS-type service developed and offered to solve these problems. Providing visualizations of the assets and values of a community that were previously difficult to see enables us to support the achievement of goals in community management, such as attracting customers, revitalizing, and improving member LTV.

PROJECT

We have been working with multiple Resi-Tech partners to “verify community scalability from the operational side.”
We use Station’s unique design framework to organize and design information that helps designing communities that match the theme of the spaces developed by each of our partners. We conduct interviews and workshops for users of each space using the contents of operations and the image of the community that has developed in each space to measure the expected level of value and necessity that the community requires, and we then begin the verification.

RESULT

When doing validation test during the program period, we explained the designed community concept to facility users through interviews. Moreover, the necessity of the community was confirmed, and a level of mutual understanding was obtained, making it possible to develop a concrete image of future operations.
We are currently attempting to verify the expansion of these communities and are considering introducing Station in various roles, as well as considering how best to enhance community content in a way that promotes the participation of community members.
Some facilities have already started to introduce Station and are using to develop their operations. By connecting various spaces and communities and designing adhesion points for local communities, our goal is to create opportunities for exchange within the region. We also aim to improve the circulation of related populations from other regions, expand and develop local industries, and create new businesses.

Future Developments

We intend to design a mechanism that allows users to freely choose communities that suit their lifestyles the most. As we continue to work on the program, we aim to help “create a new era of communities” by visualizing the value of the community to raise its value and ensure that everyone can depend on them.
In the future, we will continue developing functionality at an increased rate to provide community infrastructure that offers support for operations and value creation for the places and communities within this system.
